I just got back from the little on-campus grocery store thingy here and there was like 4325283042834238420341702317 people there, all packing up for their long-ass commute back to their insulated suburban enclaves.

Never you mind I was as about as hungry as a bear before a leather party so you can understand my wanting to get to the line, pay for my shit, and just leave. I had with me my soda, my Quizno’s sandwich, and a cookie. Behind me were two frat-douches and before me was about three girls, wearing Uggs and shorts despite it being like 42º F outside.

So whilst I was waiting for checkout three more girls, these girls’ presumable friends, cut in line and totally backed their asses up into my Quizno’s, coke and cookie. I am a feminist but to have some raunchy bitch who just got up after a night of general carousing, drunk partying and acting like a dumb entitled slut was the last straw. The girl at the front of the line was like “lol omg you guize that’s totally not nice lol” but she did nothing. And so the checker was like “you guys need to go to the back of the line, please, just out of common courtesy”. So they were like, “omg what are u talking about we only have like Chick-fil-a and fries and we’re all paying together lolwut”. The checker held her ground, while two of these bitches decided to run out of the store without having paid for anything, totally convinced as young, rich and beautiful things they were just gonna get off scott-free. By the time this happens 10 minutes of the checker yelling and telling them to get back in line, and the frat-douches behind me are laughing, I’m nodding my head in disbelief and facepalm. The manager comes and threatens to call the police, while another checker takes me and the rest of the line, while the girls get a stern talking-to.

Then, afterwards, like six of their boyfriends all show up with them in tow again, hold up the line yet again, and then proceed to descend en masse, like a flock of pigeons, right where the front doors. Mind you, these kids are most likely from Dallas, Houston or Austin where apparent civility is not perceived as a common courtesy. In the process of leaving one of these douchebags has the utter gall to totally bump me into the glass wall while leaving on the arm of his loose-lipped bleach blonde fuckhole. One of my consultants, Camílo, totally is an asshole to one, telling one dude to “move out of the way” in the most Mexican way possible. ¡Órale!

As a final commentary to all of this, I manage to overhear these girls all complain about how they’re being treated unfairly on account of their being white, by all the “blacks and Mexicans” working at the convenience store. Oh yeah, so the last time I checked West Texas was really in somewhere in Central Africa, where the natives cook good Southern food in cauldron pots, sing Negro spirituals and play rap music, while the Mexicans hunt down giant running tortillas on super-fast illegal immigrant burros with no relative English-speaking skills to serve up to the hungry white tourists.

I am so glad to be going home to South Texas, where I can be around nice people, and not just some stupid bunch of fucking sluts who have that insular North American perspective that their parents money and status is superior, that they are good-looking, rich, beautiful, wealthy and entitled. Please, baby. You may have six figures but that can never buy experience, appreciation, cultural dialogue or understanding.

So yeah, foods is srs business. There was some little fag there that reminded me of thewarindrew. Fuck him! Fuck all of him!

OH BTW I CLEARED MY FINAL THESIS REVIEW YESTERDAY AND I AM GRADUATING IN MAY! BUT THAT MEANS NOTHING BECAUSE I’LL MOST LIKELY STILL BE HERE FOR THE DOCTORAL PROGRAM.
